DESCENT

DESCRIPTION

Descent is a project that I am developing in my free time that started out as a single player horror game, but was later refactored to transform into a multiplayer game, making use of the Online Subsystem Steam API.

The purpose of the project is to culminate all my learnings from when I first started learning Unreal all the way to the end of my Bulkhead internship, and apply them to a real game which I plan on finishing & publishing one day

The game is a co-op survival horror game, where players must complete objectives around the map whilst avoiding a patrolling AI that roams around the map seeking out players. The game also features proximity voice chat to help expand the multiplayer experience and make player engagement more fun and interactive
